Before and After

So Lately I've been having a lot of fun taking pictures of friends babies and my own kids obviously! I have been playing in photoshop-my friends Eva and Dantzelle are getting good at photoshop and sharing tips with me so I have wanted to try them out and this week I learned how to make eyes pop! It is so cool I never knew how to do it but it is not that hard. Anyways just thought I'd share the before and after.

Us wives have been enjoying nature. We visited Great Falls and the botanical gardens in DC! They were both so pretty and so fun to go out and do something with good company!

Brax and McKinley

So I only have 8 days left on my trial download of lightroom so you might be overwhelmed with pictures since I am trying all the things out that I have wanted to! I set up this photoshoot and it was so easy and I did it in like 15 minutes just in my house one day! Hope you like them!

I Heart Faces Feet Week

So I entered http://iheartfaces.blogspot.com. It features amateur photographers and this week was feet week. My friend Sarah had entered and I loved one picture of Braxton's feet so here is the pic! This is Braxton's feet. During the summer it seems he never has shoes on and I just love this because it reminds me of summertime!

Iwo Jima

Every year I make the office poster. This year I traced the Iwo Jima statue and that is what we use to track the office sales. Brandon had all the guys sign the poster it was cool. Brandon then took the guys to the Iwo Jima Memorial on Thursday to do a motivational speech and to get office pictures taken. We used our camera to take some of the pictures (Eva Sessions) took them and I was having fun and wanted to Edit some. I thought she did a great job! All the office pictures are taken by her. MAKEUP

Sorry for the fifty million posts usually I don't have time to do it, but I'm super bored so I'll post some more. I went to MAC and got my makeup done. It was so fun and I learned a lot! I asked Brandon to let me get my makeup done and then to be able to buy what I liked for my anniversary present so he agreed. Normally I'm not a huge post pics of myself fan, but to show my makeup I have to. Yikes!

Anniversary #5

So for our anniversary this year we thought we better celebrate a big 5 years with a night IN yes that's right IN! We hired a personal chef to cater our anniversary dinner. Dantzelle my wonderful sister-in-law watched my kids and me and Bran ate the best food ever! We tried some new things that we love and had some classics in a new way that were so tasty. I loved the main dish-Rib eye steak with homemade steak sauce, caramelized onions, green beans, and a tomato pesto dish! He also made au gratin potatoes and forgot them in the oven (not on, just in to warm) So we get food for tomorrow. My ultimate favorite was a belgian chocolate fondue. Oh it was heaven!!!! I can't even suck my stomache in I ate so much!!! The best was we had all sorts of stuff to dip in the chocolate and my favorite was the peaches I loved it! Then the strawberries and raspberries and pound cake were tied for second!!!! Oh man I think I even licked the bowl that was how good this chocolate was!!!! Anyways we loved the experience and if you are in the DC area look up Chef Chez Vous or Michael Gilbourne!!! He was from Paris and he was so cool and made such good food it is worth the price!!!!

I love you babe! 5 Years it is is crazy how time has flown by! I don't know how I pictured us to be at 5 years but I wouldn't have changed a thing! We have 2 beautiful kids that are the highlight of our lives. We get to travel to new exciting places together and go on many adventures. You are such a wonderful husband, provider, and father and I can tell how much you love us! You always make sure we know you love us and that you'd rather be with us. I love you so much babe!
