Life

This past week and a half my wonderful sister Ashley came to visit me. It turned out to be perfect since Brandon's office went to Charleston, West Virginia to go sell for 3 whole weeks!!! Which means that I would have been completely alone, and it's not like it is a short drive away. It is 6 hours away!!! Brandon took my camera so I have no pictures to post, but here is a list of some of the things we did! We went shopping at every mall within a 45 mile radius (3 to be exact), We drove to Charleston for 3 days to see Brandon and went shopping yet again and watched the Olympics, We played at the pool, we went to D.C. and went to the Natural History museum with animals and the Hope Diamond and then went to go see the sites but got poured on and had to leave!!!, then we had a picnic at a fun park. Nothing to exciting, but it turned out to be a lot of fun, and we didn't kill each other so that is good. I'm sure she is ready to leave our crazy house!!!

Also, we get to leave this next week for home in Idaho!!! We leave on Wednesday and have 33 hours to drive so we might not be home until Friday, but nevertheless we are going home!!! Virginia has been so fun, but I'm ready to go home! Every time I call Brandon I tell him I could pack all day and we could leave in the morning but he doesn't think that is so funny since he has to sell one more week and he is already getting trunky!!! He did awesome this year and has sold over 200 personal good accounts, and the office is about to clear 3,400 good accounts. I am proud of his accomplishments!!! I am also now 22 weeks! Time is flying by! It seems like I was just telling friends and family I am pregnant and now I am halfway done!!! Braxton has learned some new tricks that aren't so wonderful and some that are wonderful! He learned how to open doorknobs, which means that if we shut a door it is not a baby proof room anymore since he can get into it now. He has learned how to push chairs wherever he wants them to help him climb higher like to get his treats...enough said. Some wonderful things are he is starting to potty train himself. I haven't pushed it but he is learning to tell me when he has gone or when he needs to go and we sit him on the toilet and he is so happy with the results. He learned the actions to popcorn popping and it is so cute!!! Also he is a chatterbox!!! I don't understand any of it but he is chattering away!!! Hopefully they can become sentences soon.

So there is an update on our life and what is going on!!!

Party, Party, Party!!!

On Monday we had the opportunity to go to Allie's 2nd birthday party. It was a water party with a Hawaiian theme! It was so fun and Braxton loves to play with the kids! He loved the cupcakes if you couldn't tell!!! It was a blast!

ER

Last night I was having sharp pains in my lower left side. I hadn't experienced anything like that before and was worried. I knew it was bad when I was over at a friend's house and could barely stand up to walk home. I decided to go to the ER to get it checked out just to be safe. I feel like I am cautious especially when it comes to my children so I thought it couldn't hurt. Well everyone in Virginia had the same thoughts, to go to the ER to get their issues checked out. It took me an hour and a half just to get admitted and it was already like 11 at night when we went in. They took me back and asked me some questions and I did a few simple tests, then they sent me back out to wait. I thought well that wasn't so long. It had been about 3 hours when they came back, by then the pain had worked itself out...I feel dumb now...but they still wanted to admit me and run some more tests. It was 2 AM so i sent Brandon home to be with Braxton and relieve my wonderful sister-in-law Dantzelle from babysitting duty. So I thought well how long could it take? They said they wanted to do a blood test and ultrasound and pelvic exam, because I had been having a few contractions and worried about a torn placenta or even pre-term larbor, since this had never happened to me before. Well there were so many other people that I ended up waiting 4 hours more on top of the other time when if they would've just hurried and done all the tests it would've taken about a half hour. I thought I was going in for a simple problem, possibly a bigger problem, but most likely something simple you know, ask a few questions, do a few tests, be out of there in about 2 hours tops. NO I was there for 7 hours!!!! Most of the time just waiting!!!! I decided that I will wait and talk to my doctor over the phone from now on!!! I am glad that I got it checked out and that everything was ok, but I was not very happy how long it took to tell me I was fine when I realized that the moment the cramps eased up. Sorry this is boring, but I had to vent!!!

I also just want to say thank-you to my wonderful sister-in-laws and friends who have been there to help me so many times with Braxton with babysitting, and watching him so I could go to the doctor or anything else. I hope someday I can return the favor for all of you!!!
