Halloween Fun

On Tuesday Brax and I went to my mom and dad's ward Halloween Carnival. It was cute and amazingly done! Brax was a cute little puppy!

I decided to go as a cat. I knew I really looked like one when a little girl told her mom I was a kitty!

Here is me and Brax before the carnival!

These are the cute spider cupcakes Brax won at the cake walk!

These were so cute! I had to post a pic! They are hot dogs cut in half and rolled in dough then baked! They stuck chinese noodles for legs and used ketchup and mustard for the web! They were yummy too!

Then on Wednesday Jess, Mike and Me carved pumpkins! Jess's is on the left (her's is a cat), Mine is in the middle (the dancing ghosts), and Mike's is on the right (coyotes howling)! It was way fun!

Just a close up picture of my pumpkin!

I am excited for Halloween this year! We will have to see how Brax does since he seems to be scared of people dressed up in costumes! I love having a child because it is like you get to be one yourself-I get to dress up and take him trick-or-treating! I love it!

Hey! I like the costumes! It looks like you guys had fun at the carnival. I made cupcakes for our ward yesterday, but my cupcakes look nothing like that. I love your pumpkins. Kurt and I make a spider and a skull, but the squirrels here already got them. Dang squirrels!

Braxton loved throwing balls at the ben bag toss - some of my young men would stick their faces in the holes and amazingly not Braxton could hit them - I smell a athlete comming.

I should have taken a picture of the ones Laura Thueson did this year. They were awesome - spiders (half spheres) with green or purple frosting put on with the star tip of the frosting applicator, then legs of black licorice and those round eyes that are foil covered with chocolate inside. They were gone in the first go round of the cake walk as soon as they arrived!

Cute costumes!! We carved our pumpkins a little too early. With the warmer weather, ours went moldy!! Bummer. Happy Halloween!
