Big Brother
Braxton is already being a great brother he was so careful with McKinley and he kept giving her kisses. The best part was when McKinley started crying Braxton brought his little stuff mouse that he can't go any where with out it and gave it to McKinley so she would be happy. Braxton is going to be a wonderful big brother he is already so careing and thoughtful he'll take really good care of his new sister.

Baby Baby Why don't you want to come...
So McKinley is not wanting to come despite my best efforts. How many countless stores I have gone to just to "walk around" so that we can speed up the labor process. Sometimes I wonder if this is just punishment for expecting a baby to come early or for complaining about having another December baby or being so scared to deliver a baby on Christmas. I think it might be. I did get my wishes granted at least with no Christmas baby and no December baby. Now I am just ready...I am sad because the earliest date I could get an induction is January 6th! A whole week away and it is even sadder because all of the family we had come up to await her arrival has to leave before then-my sister came all the way from Mississippi and has to leave the 5th!!!! We've decided she is shy. She just wants to make her presence into this world without everyone around just mom and dad and Brax I guess. Well wish us luck! If you haven't heard anything about a baby before the 6th then you know to check on the 6th because we WILL have a baby by then!!!

Christmas Morning
Up here in Rexburg we have been getting sooo much snow it is unbelievable! It reminds me of when we were kids! Brandon has had to borrow his dad's skidloader just to clear our driveway! Braxton got to ride in the "tracker" he calls it for a while and he loved it! He didn't want to come in!
He loves playing in the snow! Especially eating it!
Here is Braxton enjoying his toys from his stocking. He got some books and he was "reading" them!
Braxton and mom sitting down by the tree getting ready to let Braxton dive into what Santa brought him! Notice I am still prego! I'm thinking we might get the New Year's baby after all!
Braxton got a pop gun from Santa and he just loves it! What a little boy! Like father like son I guess!
Later that day we went to Brandon's parents to open presents and here is Braxton tearing into a present! We then went over to my house where I got to be with all of my family! It was so great to have everyone home and I am sad that I left my camera and did not get any pictures! We've had so much fun watching movies, making jewelery, playing with the kiddos in the snow, etc... It has been a wonderful Christmas! We are truly blessed! Hopefully our next post is about a baby....

On Monday this past week we celebrated Braxton's 2nd birthday. This is how his day went...

He woke up to balloons and loved to throw them up in the air and hit them again.

Then we went to McDonald's and he loved going down the slide and running around with the other kids there.

We later opened up presents. He got all the cars characters and a cars raceway from us. He got a stackable train from Gma and Gpa horsey and a remote control The King race car and a soccer goal post from gma and gpa Muscle Car.

Here is his cars raceway. He calls it his "fast cars!"

Opening presents with daddy!

This was Braxton eating his really good lightning McQueen cake. It was yummy and he loved it!

Here is the whole crew. Both grandparents and mom and dad! What a lucky boy!
Thanks everyone for making his birthday so special!
Also we took Brax in for his 2 year check-up turns out he is average in weight and like the 26th % for height. So short and average. Ha wonder where he gets the shortness from?! JK ;)
Also I am still prego! Geez I was hoping for a three week early baby! Looks like she will be hanging on for a while. Only 18 days left though. Seems like a long time but I'm sure it will fly by!

One Crazy, Fun Weekend!
This past weekend Brandon went to St. George to do some work and since I am so far along I couldn't go with him. Me and Brax decided to go have some fun so on Saturday we went with some friends to the Santa Clause at the Carousel. Brax was scared of Santa, but kinda warmed up after he got a candy cane-talk about teaching your kids not to take candy from strangers ha ha jk. Then we rode the carousel a few times. It was fun!
Here is Brax playing with play-doh! Love the cheeser!
The other night I decided I was bored so I went and bought all the letters in my kids names to paint and I got Brax this race car bank that you could paint. So I painted my letters while he painted his bank! It was so fun!
Here is a finished picture of his bank-pretty cool huh!
Tomorrow is Braxton's 2nd birthday! I cannot believe that he is 2 already, seems like I was just pregnant with him! We made his cake today and Braxton loves to help cook-especially when he gets to lick the beaters!
We made these cupcakes to eat!
This is his Lightning McQueen birthday cake! It was fun to decorate! I hope he likes it!!!
Some fun things about Braxton are:
1. He is a huge chatterbox. He loves to talk and he is so polite. He will play tackle football with you and then ask if you are ok. If you cough he will ask if you are ok. I just love it and he is always pointing everything out and saying it's name! It is so fun to here him talk and get a glimpes of his personality! He also says hi to everyone we see and I can tell it makes other people happy! I just love my little social butterfly!
2. He likes to kill you with kindness. He always says "please treat" or something to that effect and he just gives you that look that you cannot say no to. He doesn't throw too many fits he learned to just ask nicely and he gets his way. I love it also when you come home from going somewhere and he is sooo excited to see you! It just makes your day!
We love you Braxton! Happy Birthday tomorrow
P.S. Happy Birthday tomorrow to Stacy my wonderful sister-in-law also who was so nice to share her birthday!
